ESADE or Escuela Superior de Administración y Dirección de Empresas is an independent non-profit university institution, founded in 1958 in Barcelona when a group of entrepreneurs and Jesuit Society members joined forces. Since 1995, it has formed part of the Ramon Llull University.
ESADE's academic activity takes place on its Barcelona, Madrid and Buenos Aires campuses. The three main areas it focuses on are education, research and social dialogue. A strong research focus ensures that ESADE faculty actively participate in the dialogues, debates and scientific advances that define the boundaries of knowledge in our respective fields. This is important for several reasons:
ESADE's research units are dedicated to the development and sharing of knowledge applicable to the business world, the non-profit sector, the legal professions and society as a whole.
