ESADE

ESADE or Escuela Superior de Administración y Dirección de Empresas is an independent non-profit university institution, founded in 1958 in Barcelona when a group of entrepreneurs and Jesuit Society members joined forces. Since 1995, it has formed part of the Ramon Llull University.

ESADE's academic activity takes place on its Barcelona, Madrid and Buenos Aires campuses. The three main areas it focuses on are education, research and social dialogue. A strong research focus ensures that ESADE faculty actively participate in the dialogues, debates and scientific advances that define the boundaries of knowledge in our respective fields. This is important for several reasons:

1. Research ensures that their professors are world-class educators who inspire students with the latest and best thinking in their disciplines.
2. Research guarantees that the numerous public, private and non-profit organisations that interact with ESADE engage in informed and relevant dialogues.
3. Research sustains ESADE's mission to play a significant role in society; to actively promote and contribute to the most challenging social and scientific debates underway.
